LEEDS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

I am so glad I got around to adding a blog about the wedding of Rachel and Jamie, they chose me to be their Yorkshire wedding photographer. Time really does fly, and 2021 is a bit of a blur for me now! But their wedding really stuck with me, even if it has been several months since the big day. It was just pure fun from the minute I arrived.

I just want to say on behalf of my husband and I, a massive thank you Bren for being our amazing photographer on our wedding day. I really can’t find the words to say how much we love the all the photos you captured on the day and what a fantastic guy you are! Even though our first meeting was on the wedding day, it was like I’d known you all my life. So much so everyone thought you were family 😂 Xxx

The wedding was held over in Leeds, Yorkshire, so not too far from me. The wedding was held at the Holiday Inn in Leeds, which I must admit is a first for me. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the venue is. Lovely surrounding area outside, even cows! The function room that holds ceremonies was spacious with decent light, and the venue itself was just huge! My Apple watch informed me I had walked close to 7 miles that day, and I believe it!

I could clearly tell how close this family is. Rachel, Jamie and their little boy love each other dearly, and all of the guests couldn’t do enough for them. It is so heart warming when you get to photograph such a close knit and loving family as this. The first dance included Rachel, Jamie and their little boy, and that says it all.

My lasting memory of this wedding was the feeling that I had known Rachel and Jamie for years. I hadn’t, but it sure felt that way. A few days after the wedding Rachel messaged me and said a number of guests thought I too was a guest! My dream of being an uncle Bob for a day at a wedding has been fulfilled. They also checked in on me to see how I was doing, even ordered me a meal which was a huge surprise! It’s always a bonus when I am left to do my documentary thing too, which Rachel and Jamie were more than happy to let me do.

A huge congratulations to you both, thanks for choosing me to be your Leeds and Yorkshire wedding photographer!
