YORK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER AT WOODSTOCK
Jenny and Chris, what can I say, two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting, and I feel really honoured to have been their chosen York wedding photographer.
Really went above and beyond to photograph all of the good times of a spectacular day. We can’t recommend Bren (and O’Hara photography) enough! They delivered some stunning pictures, talked through what we most wanted from the day, and then went on to give us all kinds of fun extras and ideas thrown in – plus they charged a VERY reasonable price. You really made our big day that bit better, so a massive thank you! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer he’s a lovely guy and I’d thoroughly recommend. Thanks Chris and Jenny
The wonderful wedding was held at the fantastic Woodstock in York. Over the past couple of years I have worked as a wedding and events photographer more in York than any other city, it really has become a second home for me. So its always extra special when I get to revisit my favourite city.
I highly recommend the Woodstock Weddings and Events venue. The venue is perfect to host a wedding, with lots of room and a rustic environment. The food was fantastic, I am vegetarian and I quite honestly had the best pie I have ever had here! A big shout out to the staff who were amazing, and Janice couldn’t have done more for the wonderful couple, guests and even ourselves the photographers.
First Look
I knew ahead of time after having a Zoom chat with Jenny and Chris that they planned to start the day with a first look. It was such a wonderful moment, and I couldn’t help but beam with a smile. I could really tell how much Jenny and Chris truly love each other.
Wedding Film
For the wedding of Jenny and Chris I offered to also film their wedding, and I absolutely loved doing it. Thankfully Woodstock has lots of room which enabled me to film the full ceremony. I also recorded the full speeches with audio, along with several clips throughout the day. During the pandemic, especially in 2020 I was asked several times to film weddings. This typically happened when a videographer had to drop out at the last minute. I can safely say that going forward videography will play a big part in everything I do now.
A big thank you to Woodstock and the wonderful staff for all they did for us. A big thank you to my good friend Andras who was my second photographer for the day. Andras has now worked with me over seven weddings and several York university events, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him in the future.
Last but not least a big thank you to Jenny and Chris for choosing me, it really was a privilege to photograph and film your magical day. I feel I left the wedding not as a photographer but as a friend. I also subscribed to Chris on YouTube! He has a pretty big following, and offers advice and strategies on all things Warhammer.
