Whirlow Brook Hall Wedding Photography

Well its been a hot minute since I last added a blog post! 2024 was beyond busy for me, but was absolutely incredible. One of the standout weddings that I photographed was that of Ellie and Danny, which was held at Whirlow Brook Hall in Sheffield.

I have now past the 300 mark for weddings photographed, and as a Yorkshire wedding photographer you’d think I would have visited Whirlow Brook Hall at least once, but nope, this was my first time here. Without question Whirlow Brook Hall is now one of my favourite venues, its absolutely stunning and perfect to host a wedding.

My Kinda Wedding

I guess you would call me a bit of a veteran in the wedding photography world now. I only ever planned to photograph 100, or that was at least the goal. I’ve replied to hundreds and hundreds of enquiries, and I can now get a sense from the communication what type of wedding it will be. With Ellie and Danny I just knew it was going to be laid back, no stress, just have fun, my kinda wedding!

From the moment I got to Whirlow Brook Hall it was nothing but smiles and laughs, and may I add a wonderful group of family and friends. It’s the kind of wedding you don’t really want to leave.

With the exception of a handful of group photos it was a reportage/documentary approach all day long. As a Yorkshire wedding photographer who much prefers that approach I was in dreamland.
