I had a fantastic time being the event photographer for the University of York club night recently, which was held for the freshers week. I had just mentioned to a fellow photographer that I hoped to attend more events, and low and behold I received a phone call from the University of York asking me to photograph the night!

The event was held in the Roger Kirk Centre at the University of York, which was a huge space, and for good reason as close to 700 students attended!

The night pretty much had everything. From a fantastic DJ to Santa, creepy clowns, juggling, and snow! Yes snow. Because the students had missed out on so much the organisers arranged for the students to celebrate Christmas, halloween and new year. It was such a nice touch.

I absolutely love working as an event photographer. I just love the buzz and the excitement. I was definitely in my element being the chosen York event photographer.

A massive thanks to Felix for getting in touch and choosing me, and also to the students who put up with me sticking a camera in their face. It’s been a rough year for everyone, but I am so glad you all had an amazing night.

If you have an event coming up and would like us to be the photographer please contact us.
