I had an incredible time being the Yorkshire wedding photographer for the wonderful wedding of Rosie and Ryan, held at the beautiful Thief Hall in Northallerton.

Thief Hall is an exclusive wedding venue, located in the North Yorkshire countryside. The views around Thief Hall are stunning, and the venue itself is fantastic. It’s truly a perfect venue to host a wedding.

My day started at around 10am where I took some getting ready photos of Rosie and Ryan. I could see so many details that had a personal touch for the couple. From the wedding ring box looking like a suitcase, Ryans cufflinks that looked like a skyline, to the colourful flowers. I was in my element here.

Going into the wedding I knew that the day would have a travel theme. Rosie and Ryan have travelled quite a bit in their lives, and the highlight of the day was going to be paper planes being thrown by the guests! The paper planes were such a great idea, but did pose some challenges such as wind, which was quite strong this day. Thankfully we got the shot the second time around, and its pretty epic!

I must add that the staff at Thief Hall are first class, some of the very best I have come across in my wedding photography travels. Nothing was any trouble, constantly on hand and foot and willing to do whatever it took to make the couples special day even more special.

So many shoutouts for the wedding of Rosie and Ryan. I met some incredibly talented professionals throughout the day, as well being super professional they really are lovely and friendly people. I especially got on well with Hayley the makeup artist, who realIy added to the day with her enthusiasm and humour!
