PRESTON MARRIOTT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I had a wonderful time being the wedding photographer for the fabulous wedding of Amy and Andrew. The wedding was held over at the Marriott in Preston.
Preston is quite a distance from my home, but for a wedding I will travel pretty much anywhere. Also, I had photographed the wedding of Amy’s sister a couple of years ago, so it’s lovely that they came back to me.
The Preston Marriott Hotel was originally a Victorian Manor House. So safe to say it was huge, with lovely gardens surrounding the manor, along with fantastic airy rooms.
I arrived around 10am to meet-up with Amy and her bridesmaids to capture some bridal prep. At any one time there must’ve been close to ten people in the room, thankfully the room itself was large so it wasn’t a problem.
The ceremony was lovely and emotional for both Amy and Andrew, you could clearly see how much they mean to each other. The lighting wasn’t too bad, but a note for photographers, be prepared to be editing a mixture of natural light from the large window, but also tungsten lighting from inside the room.
The reception was great fun, it was held in the Broughton Suite. A huge room, so that is a big plus.
This was my last wedding for a little while. Time to get editing and recovering from one of the busiest years for wedding photography and also event photography I have ever encountered. I’ve been all over the country and met so many incredible people, I truly feel blessed.
All the very best to Amy and Andrew, thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer!
