OUR STYLE AND APPROACH
Our approach and style is what many call reportage or documentary wedding photography. This means that our photographs will tell the story of the day, in an unscripted and honest way. We were recently added to the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) and this was in large part due to our photojournalism style.
Every wedding photographer has a different approach, from the photographer who aims for the big posed and staged shots, traditional wedding photography (Ceremony, Group Photos), to ourselves who love nothing more than to capture the day like a story, from the moment we turn up to the moment we leave.
We believe that your wedding photography shouldn’t be stage managed, you should be yourself and enjoy your day. You will see us constantly photographing the little details, people talking and laughing to even mingling on the dance floor. You may see us on our knees or even laying down to try and capture a unique perspective of a moment. We become totally immersed yet unobtrusive on the day, and we think that is an important part of our style. It’s the couples big day and it’s our job to capture the fun and love in an honest way.
