MANCHESTER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I haven’t blogged in a while, partly due to this wedding season being one of the busiest I can remember. I travelled throughout the UK and visited some incredible cities, while capturing so many wonderful weddings. As a wedding photographer I do feel like I am blessed to see so many new places and meet so many wonderful people.

My last wedding of the season was that of Shauna and Toby held in Manchester. If I could have chosen a wedding to end the year on a high it would be theirs! Just pure fun from start to finish.

Bren is first and foremost the loveliest person. I loved the documentary style of the pictures he captures and how each picture is filled with so much personality and so natural.

It almost adds so much more sentiment to your photographs and have to say each picture he captured on our wedding day meant so much more for that reason. They all look stunning(thank you for naturally capturing the good angles too). We have had so many compliments from others about how amazing they are!

He is such a calming influence on the day and is always happy to go with the flow and make things as easy as possible around such a crazy fast paced day. He was an absolute gent, was so kind and to us and our family and friends, he almost felt like another friend/family member rather than a photographer. We would give him more stars if we could! Thank you again Bren! 🙂

My day started at the Lock Keepers Cottage. Unfortunately there were two Lock Keepers Cottages in Manchester, and of course Google Maps sent me to the wrong one. The owner looked rather startled when I asked if Shauna the bride to be was inside! Thankfully the correct Lock Keepers Cottage was just down the road, so I wasn’t late.

CEREMONY & RECEPTION

The ceremony and reception was held at the fantastic Castlefield Rooms. I had not been to this venue before, but I can safely say it’s the most perfect venue to host a wedding. Lots of space for guests to roam around, the lighting is fantastic, and the staff were always on hand and super friendly.

Shauna and Toby were more than happy to do my documentary thing. For documentary wedding photography the venue and guests play such a big part. Castlefield Rooms was perfect for this, and the wedding guests, family and friends were all characters who were up for a party.

I cannot thank Shauna and Toby enough for all they did for me on the day. I absolutely loved it. All the very best to you both!

Here’s a handful of photos from this magical day…
