HULL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Documentary wedding photographer | Yorkshire wedding photographer | Hull wedding photographer
You know when you have one of those days that you laugh so much that your jaw aches? That’s exactly how it was for me when photographing the wonderful wedding of Poppy and Jack in my home city of Hull!
As a Hull wedding photographer it’s always extra special to be photographing a wedding in Hull, so I couldn’t wait for Poppy and Jacks big day to come around.
My day started at around 11am to meet-up with Jack while he and his groomsmen got ready. Due to the timing I couldn’t stay too long before I had to make my way over to Poppy, as the traffic in Hull at the moment is horrendous. Thankfully though I managed to visit both in the space of around an hour to grab some getting ready photos.
The ceremony and reception was held at The Country Park in Hessle, which is a fantastic venue with wonderful staff. The views from The Country Park are outstanding, with the foreshore on its doorstep and grand views of the Humber Bridge. This was also my first wedding in being able to use my drone, and in the process scaring some of the wedding guests to death! It was good fun and adds a new perspectives to the wedding venues by introducing drone photography. I even airdropped a few videos and photos to the manager of The Country Park, any content helps these days.
Here’s a short video of some of the footage I captured:
Just like so many couples, Poppy and Jack had to rearrange their wedding date several times due to the pandemic, but I really believe it was well worth the wait! As a Hull and Yorkshire wedding photographer, and a documentary wedding photography at that, the wedding of Poppy and Jack was a dream to photograph.
With most weddings either cancelled or rescheduled it does mean my 2021 wedding season is jam packed, with back to back weddings throughout the next few months. But if all weddings are like Poppy and Jacks it’s going to be one fun year!
All the very best to you both!
