WINTER FORMAL WITH JAMES COLLEGE – UNIVERSITY OF YORK
2021 has been an incredible year. I feel so fortunate to have photographed so many weddings throughout the country, but I’ve also worked as an event photographer which I absolutely love to do.
I’ve been lucky enough to be the event photographer for the Hull York Medical School, and over the past couple of months the event photographer for James College at the University of York. The reason I love event photography is that there is always something happening. With university events its all about the students having a great time, and who wouldn’t want to photograph and capture that?
The recent event was held at the National Railway Museum in York. I have a couple of photographer friends who have photographed weddings here, so it was high on my bucket list. I have visited the National Railway Museum with family, so I knew first hand that the venue wouldn’t disappoint. It’s a huge museum with a wonderful collection of trains, locomotives and engineering. Certainly worth a visit if you’re looking for a day out.
2021 is drawing to a close and I have three weddings left to attend, but this was my last event of an amazing year.
Big thank you to Andras who was the second shooter for the night, well done mate! Also a big thank you to Felix and all of the students at James College who made it a joy to photograph! All the very best to you all.
