BEVERLEY BARN WEDDING WITH ANNIE & CHRIS

I had the honour of being the Yorkshire wedding photographer for Annie and Chris’s big day. The wedding was held at the always wonderful Beverley Barn. This wedding was extra special for me, as I have known Annie and Chris for many years now, and consider them really good friends of mine.

Not only did they support me through my own photography venture all those years ago, but Annie started her own cake design business at Annie Elizabeth Cake Design. Annie has absolutely excelled, now a multi-award winning cake designer! When attending a wedding I always know when the wedding cake is one of Annie’s. The attention to detail, and every cake looks like a work of art! She really is the absolute best there is and deserves all the praise that comes her way.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Holy Trinity Church in Leven. Its been a few years since I have visited this church, so it was really lovely to be back, especially for the wedding of Annie and Chris. The ceremony was beautiful and intimate, and in some ways I had to pinch myself that I was photographing their wedding!

The Reception

The reception was held at the fantastic Beverley Barn, a venue that I have visited more than any other venue now. No matter how many times I have attended the Beverley Barn it never gets old. I just love the open spaces, people inside and outside, nothing is cramped, and typically there’s wonderful light all day to work with.

The reception was great fun, from the speeches to the first dance. We even had sparklers to end the night. Sparklers and fireworks at weddings can be technically difficult at times, but thats where a fast prime lens comes into play, and thankfully I captured several shots.

BIG Thank You

Big thanks to the Beverley Barn for being fantastic as always. Thanks to Conrad who was my second photographer for the day. A huge thank you to Annie and Chris for trusting in me to capture their day.

Annie and Chris I feel so privileged to have photographed your big day. I may have been the photographer, but I was also a really proud friend. All the very best to you both!
